Professor Weron is Associate Editor of ‘ Computational Statistics ' and member of the Bernoulli Society for Mathematical Statistics and Probability. He is actively working in stochastic modeling and risk management applied to financial and power markets. His other interests include time series, forecasting, heavy tailed distributions, and computer simulations of highly volatile phenomena.
